JEWELLERY SIZING GUIDE

Ring Sizes

If you are unsure what your ring size is, the best way to get an accurate measurement is to ask a local high street jeweller to measure your finger.

If this is not possible there are two “at home” options you can do:

1. Please refer to the ring size chart below:

  • Ideally measure your finger towards the end of the day and when your finger is warm (measuring your finger when it is cold can result in up to half a size difference).
  • Rings with a thicker band will feel tighter than those with thinner bands.  Similarly, if ordering multiple rings to be worn as stacking rings, look to size up (approximately one ring size) to allow room for movement and to ensure that they fit comfortably.
  • Your ring should always fit comfortably.

2.  Purchase a “diy ring sizer” from the Accessories section.  Instructions will be included and the cost will be deducted from any future ring purchase you make within 30 days.

Bangle Sizes

Most of the bangles I make are round or oval in shape, but there is the option to have them as an adjustable (open) bangle or a cuff.

The easiest way to determine your bangle size is to use a bangle that fits you well.  Measure the internal diameter, north to south, straight through the middle of the bangle.  Make sure it’s the inside of the bangle you measure, and not the outer edge.  Look up your size from the choices below.  If your size is not one of the standard sizes shown, please select the next size up.

Alternatively, you can measure your hand with a tape measure or a piece of string as a rough guide.  For this you may need some help to ensure you get an accurate measurement:

  • Bend your thumb as far as possible into your hand – the kind of position you would put your hand into if you were putting a bangle on, with the thumb reaching toward the tips of the finger.
  • Then wrap the measuring tape or string around the widest part of your hand, usually across the knuckles.  Keep the tape tight, it shouldn’t be loose – we are looking to get the smallest measurement around the knuckles.  Please do not be tempted to leave a bit of extra room.
  • Make a note of the length, or mark the string and measure it against a ruler.
  • This measurement gives you the circumference (see the size guides below).

All bangles are measured using the internal diameter at the widest points, as per image:

Sizes are approximate as the bracelets are all handmade

Necklace Sizes

There are several chain styles and lengths available, and are down to personal preferences.

If you would like some guidance on the best style for your chosen pendant, please see individual listing or contact me and I would be happy to advise.

The diagram shows the different lengths on the average frame:
